Compositions

Sean Pflueger, an accomplished singer in his own right, love to write for the voice, especially opera.  In addition to his operas, he has written many original works for chorus, solo voice, and small instrumental ensembles. He also has many arrangements of sacred and secular classics for solo voice and chorus.

The song cycle What's for Dinner: A Guide to Managing Expectations considers the burden of expectations that contemporary society places upon women as mothers, employees, wives, and sex objects, and contrasts that with the reality of living with these competing priorities.
